Lugano-Agno Airport

Lugano's airport, located in Lugano-Agno, 6 km from the city centre, guarantees the
possibility of parking and the connection to Lugano by shuttle bus. A small airport that is capable nonetheless of satisfying all traveller requirements as short check-in and boarding operations (20 minutes before departure) and daily connections between Ticino and the main Swiss cities of Zurich and Geneva as well as the Italian capital Rome.

Lugano is located at only 60 km from the international airport of Milano-Malpensa.

Lugano is situated on the international Gotthard highway (Zurich-Chiasso-Milan) that directly connects Northern Europe to the Mediterranean region.

It is possible to conveniently park your car in the multistorey carpark right in front of the Palazzo Congressi, located under Piazza Castello or in other city carparks all reachable by foot.

The Swiss SBB Railway Network allows travellers to reach Lugano conveniently by train. In fact, the city is on the important Gotthard railway axis linking up North and South Europe.
From the railway station, the Palazzo Congressi can either be reached by foot (15 minutes) or by means of public transportation: the FFS funicular, followed by a short walk, or by bus number 2.
